Valeria Costa, architect by FAU-UFRJ and postgraduate student on documentary filmmaking program at FGV-RJ. After a short period as an architect, she moved to set design: exhibitions, shows, theater, then feature films and advertising. Regarding the professional journey among so many generous masters, she highlights Gringo Cardia, Hélio Eichbauer, Claudio A. Peixoto, Marlise Storchi and Tulé Peak. Beyond the interest in the collective process of ficcion cinema, she is interested in the authorial practice of visual arts whose chosen cutout is the study of human landscape and other issues of frontier cinema between essayistic doc and audiovisual installations.
