Mônica Costa is a production designer and visual artist. She attended school of Journalism at UFPA / PUC-RJ / NYC. She began her career in 1997, as a set decorator in “Central Station”, followed by “Midnight” and “Behind the Sun”, all directed by Walter Salles.

As an art director, she took part in the series “A Segunda Vez”, directed by César Rodrigues, as well as “Amor Veríssimo” by Arthur Fontes, and “Os Homens São de Marte” by Susana Garcia, among others.

Her latest works include the features “Men Are From Mars”, “And That’s Where I’m Going!”, and “My Mom is a Character 3”, by Susana Garcia.
