Winner of the Best Art Direction awards at Gramado Festival and Festival Guarnicê, with the film O Último cine Drive-In (by Iberê Carvalho), among others awards for other projects, Maíra Carvalho is Production Designer, researcher and producer since 2002. In his curriculum, more than forty cinematographic productions, among feature films, series, telefilms, shorts and dozens of advertising productions, theatrical shows and scenographies. From 2006 to 2015, she was professor of audiovisual and art direction at colleges in DF. Graduated in History and Master in Communication from the University of Brasília, specialist History and Aesthetics of Cinema by the Universidad de Valladolid (Spain) and in Art History by Faculty Dulcina de Moraes. She is a creative partner of the production company Quartinho Artistic Directions.
