Based in São Paulo, Brazil, she graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at FAU-USP and worked as an architect and landscape designer until meeting renowned production designer Tulé Peak when she was his assistant during Fernando Meirelles’ feature film “Maids”.

Since 2002 she has been working as a production designer and art director in advertising films, music videos, short films, and features. In 2010, Ale worked as a production designer for the feature film “Bróder”.
