With an undergraduate degree in Architecture and a MFA from UPC Barcelona, Mencio’s standout works in production design, include: the feature film “My name is Baghda”, by Caru Alves de Souza (winner of the Grand Prix of the generation / Berlin 2020); the series “Our Blood Our Body”, Fox Channel (winner of the Emmy Award / Factual 2019); the feature “Correndo Atrás”, by Jeferson De (with premiere at the NY African Film Festival); the feature and series “Aldo, Mais Forte Que O Mundo”, by Afonso Poyart (nominated for the 2018 Emmy Awards); the feature “De Menor” (winner of the best film / RJ festival 2013); and the Pinacoteca’s advertising “Anthropophagy” (bronze winner of Cannes Lions, Creativity 2018). She has also designed sets for MTV and over 200 advertising films.
