Manoela Clemente is a production designer from Brazil. With a degree in Cinema by FAAP University in São Paulo, since 2006 she has been part of the production design of several short and advertising films. Although having worked in advertising her approach is always from a cinematographic perspective. Manoela Clemente is a member of Brada: Coletivo de Diretoras de Arte do Brasil (collective of art directors of Brazil) and of the Production Designers Collective. A good example of her work is the short film “O Chá do General” (Generals Tea) which has been nominated and awarded Best Production Design in 4 different festivals around the country: Rainbow Festival, CiviFilmes, Cine Tamoio, Primeiro Plano Juiz de Fora. The advertisement piece “Valongo” was finalist for Best Production Design in festival El Ojo de Iberoamérica.
