Flavia Yared graduated in Architecture at UFPR. She has a Specialization degree in Architecture and Scenography at École d’Architecture de Clermont-Ferrand, France; and in Art and Philosophy at PUC-RJ. Master degree in Philosophy at PUC-RJ. Currently conducting research as a doctoral student at ECO-UFRJ.

More than twenty years of practical experience in the fields of Production Design and Set Design in Cinema, Theatre and Television productions. As a Set Designer for TV Globo, Yared worked in several productions, such as the series “Filhos da Pátria 2”, “Tá no Ar”, “A Formula” and the soap opera “Avenida Brasil”. Yared also worked as Production Designer in the film “Curitiba Zero Grau”, and the short film “virtualidadereal.com.br”.

She is interested in the roles of space as a site of dwelling. She searches to explore the infinite spatial interactions in which human relations take place, enriching such relations through which we exist, and which turn the experience of life more profound.
