Elsa Romero

Production and set designer, she has graduated in Cinema at UFF and in Set Design at UNIRIO. She has been working in the audiovisual and theatrical world for over 10 years now, researching the potential of space through different dramaturgical languages.

She was the production designer of the feature film “Sick, Sick, Sick”, directed by Alice Furtado, which premiered in 2019 in the Quinzaine des Realisateurs, Cannes. She also did the production design of the Tv series “Anjo Loiro Com Sangue No Cabelo”, directed by Marina Meliande and Felipe Bragança, and “Décimo Andar”, directed by Caito Mainier, both for the Brazilian channel Canal Brasil.

As far as theatre is concerned, she has authored the set design of more than 30 shows in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Lisbon.
