Graduated in Film from ECA-USP and recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship for specialization courses at Tisch School of Arts- design dept- NYU. Ana Mara Abreu is a production designer and set designer for feature films, series, advertising, TV shows and theater, among her work, are the series “Mystery World” for Netflix, the feature films “Aunt Virginia” by Fábio Meira, “California” by Marina Person, “Mare Nostrum” and “The 12 Labors’ by Ricardo Elias, “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes” and “Durval Discos” by Anna Muylaert, “Best Friends”, “The Milky Way and Tonic Dominant” by Lina Chamie and “A Starry Sky” by Tata Amaral, the TV program “Start Up Planet” by André Lefcadito and numerous advertising films. Received awards for Best Production Design at the film festivals in Brasilia, Gramado and Recife.
